The Montgomery County Health Department provides HIV and Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing and counseling services to all County residents over age 13. These FREE services are provided daily, throughout MontgomeryCounty, at one of the Clinic sites listed below.
Confidential or Anonymous HIV testing, education and counseling is offered during clinic hours only, by a blood test. Clients must return one week later for their test results. Partner notification and referral services are provided as needed. CD4 and Viral Load testing is available by appointment only, for those HIV+ clients who are under the care of a physician, and who also qualify forthe Special Pharmaceutical Benefits Program. HIV testing, by the OraQuick Advance Method, is also available at the Norristown clinic site. This testing provides a result in approximately 30 minutes. Testing is offered by appointment only at the Norristown site on Mondays from 1-3:30 pm and Thursdays from 9-11:30 am. Call 610-278-5117 to speak to a counselor or to schedule an appointment.
Confidential testing, diagnosis, education and treatment of common Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) is provided at the clinic sites listed below, during clinic hours only. Partner notification and referral services are also provided as needed. In order to decrease the incidence of transmission, the Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B vaccination series will be offered to all clients who present to any of the clinics, for confidential testing and/or treatment for HIV or STDs.
